Oversee the clinical, financial and administrative operations of a Clubhouse. Plan, develop and operationalize practice standards as set forth by the Department of Mental Health. Supervise Clubhouse staff. Promote the membership’s progress in their Action Plan goals and contribution to the 
Clubhouse’s operation. Anticipate and positively react to operational and administrative issues from members and community constituents. 

• Oversee the implementation of all Clubhouse service components and standards.
• Direct and manage the activities of Clubhouse staff. Hire staff appropriate to the available position(s). Deploy staff appropriately with the goal of optimizing effort and achieving Clubhouse community, operational and financial goals.
• Manage staff performance. Provide direction, training, and coaching; implement recognition and rewards programs; conduct performance planning and review sessions; provide guidance on career development. Responsible for counseling and corrective action processes as necessary. Provide staff with new and updated policies and guidance.
• Ensure that the intake of prospective Clubhouse members is completed in a timely, professional manner; arrange and perform intake procedures.
• Provide supervision and direction to program staff regarding Clubhouse Action Plans and interventions, including rehabilitative strategies and techniques. Assist staff in completing comprehensive assessment for persons served. Forward collaborations with other service providers and members’ involved others to share information regarding assessment
• Action Plans and interventions.
• Lead efforts to promote and strengthen members’ ability and willingness to determine Clubhouse policies, activities, structure and planning for the future.
• Provide outreach and create environments in which family, friends, and relationships between members will be fostered and strengthened.
• Foster teamwork and member leadership within Clubhouse. Promote “Clubhouse Culture” through formulating policies and procedures with members and staff that adhere to Clubhouse program standards.
• • Respond to internal and external data collection and reporting requests.
  • Responsible for completion and adherence to service delivery data and utilization management processes. 
  • Ensure adherence to compliance with all internal quality and external standards, as well as program specific policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the development of, and manage adherence to, program budgets.
  • Represent Vinfen in professional, trade, regulatory, and funding source organizations; participate in committees, meetings, and other activities as requested. 
  • Serve as a resource for program staff, family and friends of members, neighbors, public officials, and other providers.
  • Manage adverse events; ensure plans and corrective actions are implemented and reported.
  • Provide on-call back up and on-site support and intervention, when necessary.
  • Ensure maintenance and safety of physical site.
  • Perform other related duties, as required.

Typical Requirements:

A minimum of three years experience in progressively responsible human services functions, of which two years have been in a supervisory capacity. 

Preferred /Required Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology or related field strongly preferred. In some cases, experience may be substituted for 
academic training.

Physical Effort:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb as this is a very physically active position. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copier, and printer. Ability to sit, reach, climb stairs, and maneuver through narrow spaces or hallways. Ability to assist PS with tasks of daily living. Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time as needed. Ability to bend, reach, file, sit, stand, and move around the facility. Ability to speak, hear, and communicate with PS, staff, and external representatives. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
