Overview

The Assistant Program Director for the Psychiatric Rehab Division assists the Director of Service (DOS) or Vice President, ACCS Operations Director(s), ACCS Team Leader(s) and Program Directors with the management of financial, service utilization, and administrative operations. Ensure proper standards and regulations are adhered to as set forth by Vinfen and funding sources

The Assistant Program Director for the Psychiatric Rehab Division has a range of duties including:

  • Prepare and/or monitor program budgets, forecasts and amendments with direction from the DOS, ACCS Operations Director, and Program Directors/Team Leaders
  • Liaison with Vinfen's Finance Department regarding accounting, billing and payroll issues
  • Analyze financial reports and initiate accounting corrections
  • Manage and reconcile program fees and rent collection for persons served
  • Review and reconcile petty cash, as directed
  • Train program management and other staff in administrative and financial functions and responsibilities

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of operations management procedures and practices
  • Knowledge of financial management practices in human service organizations
  • Organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Excellent record-keeping skills
  • Ability to negotiate and solve problems
  • Ability to provide leadership and training to others
  • Knowledge of personal computer applications and equipment
