Overview

 

The Service Specialist in this role will promote Vinfen's Art Connection Studio via social media networking with the community to promote Vinfen's Art Connection Studio. 

 

Provide excellent services for persons served by providing leadership in discrete service areas in the areas of activities and recreation, dual disorders, employment, or education. Must have knowledge of working with various art mediums to facilitate and assist with daily art classes for individuals served.  

Job Duties:

·       Art Connection Branding/ Product development

·       Facilitate art classes and instruction

·       Oversee and supervise interns.

·       Facebook/Instagram posting administration

·       Coordinate social media promotions.

·       Community & Media Networking

·       Medication certified support as needed (training provided) 

·       Complete all Vinfen required training.

Responsibilities

 

  • Develops, plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of the specialized services under the direction of the supervisor.
  • Provides direct training and support (instruction, assistance, modeling, and reinforcement) for persons served in the specialized skill area (activities/recreation and education).
  • Maintains and updates documentation in individuals' records, program log, and program records.
  • Acts as an advocate for persons served.
  • Communicates verbally and in writing, with co-workers, supervisors, and other services providers and community resources.
  • Provides shift coverage for the program, as necessary.
  • Attends in-service trainings and staff meetings as assigned. Assists with the orientation of new staff. Ensures compliance with all internal and external regulatory bodies.
  • Complies with all corporate and divisional policies and procedures, including safe work practices, worker's compensation, universal precautions, and exposure control.
  • Performs other related duties, as required.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree in human services or related preferred.
  • One to three years' job-specific experience in human services field 
  • Strong computer skills with experience in Media postings, promotions and marketing 
  • A valid driver's license must be presented at the time of employment. Incumbents must be at least 21 years of age, have maintained a valid US driver's license for at least 6 months.
  • Must have access to an insured, reliable personal vehicle.
  • CPR/First Aid required - training provided! 
  • Safety Care required - training provided! 
  • Must be able to successfully pass a CORI, reference, multi-state background and driving record check.

Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
