Overview


We are seeking a Medication Administration Program (MAP) Trainer to develop and implement MAP training for Vinfen employees. The MAP trainer must be a Registered Nurse (RN) and will be responsible for teaching all aspects of MAP, including MAP classes, MAP Review and MAP Refresher. The MAP trainer will also be responsible for maintaining up to date information on any changes on policy, procedure or curriculum and ensure those changes are implemented in a timely manner to make certain that Vinfen is in compliance with D & S and Department of Public Health regulations.

Additionally, the MAP Trainer will work to continuously improve the quality of training, track issues that impact MAP training success and work with the Director of Training and Development to implement quality improvement measures. The MAP training will also be responsible for providing guidance and feedback to RNs who are instructing MAP curricula to assure fidelity to content as well as teaching competencies.

Qualifications

Vaccine Mandate Policy


All new employees, interns, and volunteers within Vinfen's Massachusetts programs will be required to be fully vaccinated (14 days beyond last shot of Pfizer or Moderna or 14 days beyond receiving a Johnson and Johnson vaccine), or have received the first shot in a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) with an appointment scheduled for the second dose. A 2nd dose must be received within six weeks of hire and the first shot prior to New Employee Orientation or have an approved exemption for medical or religious reasons by the first day of employment with Vinfen.

 

Job Qualifications


    • Valid Registered Nurse licensure in Massachusetts required, BSN preferred

    • Prior experience with Medication Administration Program in MA

    • Strong working knowledge of MAP, D & S and DPH requirements and systems

    • A minimum of 5 years related experience is required.

    • All candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and have held a valid US drivers license for a minimum of one year. Additionally, all candidates must be able to satisfactorily pass a CORI, driving record and credentialing check. Additionally, this position requires a fully insured vehicle that you will use in the course of your daily work.
