Vinfen offers various opportunities throughout the year in our Brain Injury Services Division. Internships within our Brain Injury Services Division offer experiential learning opportunities by working alongside teams that provide community-based services to individuals with Brain Injury and behavioral health conditions.

Internship duties vary greatly by position but include opportunities to explore and get experience with human services, routine nursing, social work and understanding the practical day-to-day life of our human services professionals.

Qualifications

Internship requirements include the following:
  • Earning college credit and working towards a collegiate degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with virtual conferencing tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams Ability to attend and complete in-person meetings and responsibilities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Cultural sensitivity and compassion
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a desire to learn
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Must be willing to sign and follow the terms of a non-disclosure agreement
  • Able to successfully pass a CORI, National Fingerprinting criminal check, a DPPC abuser registry check and a multistate background check
