Salary: $76,480 / year

 

The Enhanced Young Adult Program (EYAP) Director oversees the operations of a service model designed to end homelessness among a Youth & Young Adult (YYA) population by meeting the community integration needs unique to that population. The Enhanced Young Adult Program Director ensures the program meets high quality standards and provides meaningful value to Youth & Young Adults served. The Enhanced Young Adult Program Director encourages positive outcomes through the integration of various support services and the implementation of an evidence informed practice, allowing for synergy among the individualized services offered.

Areas of responsibility include:


  • Management and continued evolution of the EYAP project

  • Supervision/oversight and support of the Tip Facilitator and Mentor staff, the Clinical Director, and the EYAP SEAC Director

  • Creation of alternatives to the adult mental health system to meet the needs of Youth & Young Adults, their families, and loved ones who have been disconnected or disengaged from service

  • Management of the collection and analysis of data related to service improvement

  • Facilitation of access to formal services and informal supports

  • Provide training to staff

  • Monitor and ensure the maintenance of census status and the integrity of the records

  • Work in partnership with the funding agency in determining programmatic decisions as needed

Qualifications

A minimum of 6 years' experience working in educational, social service, juvenile justice, and/or
mental health settings in which the person provided counseling, training, therapy, and/or guidance
to young adults and their families is required.

 

Preference will be given to those who have experience in working with young adults with emotional/behavioral difficulties or psychiatric illness; preparing individuals for independent living, obtaining employment, or functioning in the community more effectively; and/or with home-based or outreach-based service delivery; and in the supervision of service personnel, particularly in home or outreach-based service systems.


Training and experience working with adolescents/YYA, and substance use is preferred.

 

 

Pay Range

USD $76,480.00 - USD $76,480.00 /Yr.
