Master's or Doctoral degree in social work, psychology, nursing, addiction counseling or mental health.
A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in progressively responsible roles in human services, behavioral health, SUD, criminal justice, and/or health care preferably in acute behavioral health, addiction and mental health services, of which at least 2-3 years have been in a supervisory capacity.
- Able to effectively and professionally communicate with staff, colleagues, and outside parties in both written and spoken communication; possess excellent writing skills; able to work in a professional and confidential capacity.
- Able to function independently and as part of a team and balance multiple competing priorities; able to make independent judgments and decisions.
- Experience with hiring managers, supervisors and front-line staff.
- Demonstrated expertise in building and overseeing behavioral health clinical programs.
- Clinical experience managing services, including mental health and SUD, and populations with significant medical, social, and behavioral health complexity.
- Success in developing and managing high performing teams and building a culture of inclusion and diversity.
- Sensitivity to cultural, religious, racial, disability, and gender issues.
- Able to provide effective leadership and act as a role model and mentor for the team; experienced in use of organizational, strategic, and collaborative practices to implement changes.
- Understands local, state, and federal compliance and regulatory standards and how to implement those standards in the Restoration Center service setting.
